Villagers called him "Orang Putih" cuz he was somehow much whiter compared to other kampong boy. This might due to colonization effect during British Occupation before Independence (Guru,1987). **** WARNING**** One day, somewhere between summer 1966 - 1967, being disobedient, he ignored his mum warning; "Don’t play around the shoe factory, or you’ll die”. Warning in Bahasa translation: “Jangan main-main dekat kilang kasut tu, nanti mampos”. **** THINKING**** So, he planned to sneak into the shoe factory. After intense thinking, he finally came out with a perfect plan to sneak into the shoe factory. ****ACTION**** So, later that night, he climbed slowly to the top of the coconut tree next to the shoe factory. Out of nowhere, monkeys from coconut trees nearby get irritated and start to attack. The poor Orang Putih couldn’t defense himself against these well trained coconut monkeys equipped with high molecular weight coconuts. So he fell. ****CONSEQUENCE**** He fell into the shoe factory perimeter. Unfortunately, Orang Putih fell into a big shoe whitener (kapur kasut) processing pond. As a result of the thick and highly viscous kapur kasut, he drowned like an ant fall into a hot cup of neslo bing. ****ENDING**** The next morning, local authorities found Orang Putih, but it was too freaking late. Freezed. His body was sent to Pak Montol, the local witchdoctor for further investigation. ****MORAL**** Now, the remains of Orang Putih is displayed in Rundle Mall couple times every other week. The body is exported to Adelaide since the village already has another role model called Si Tanggang which has quite similar case. Nevertheless, Orang Putih story is a great inspiration to the local community, especially to the young and disabled. Remember, “our kids are colorblind, shouldn’t we keep them that way?”.
